MHiMA Update - Meeting with the Department of Health
Latest update from Frank Quinlan, CEO Mental Health Australia:
Kylie Wake, San-Mari Esterhuysen and I met with the Department of Health yesterday to discuss the MHiMA Project and progress to date. We talked about the preliminary findings from the public consultation, provided an overview of outcomes from the NCCCWG and the Project Advisory Group workshops, and the initial findings from the Framework Review.
The MHiMA Project team are currently pulling together information and outcomes from each of these activities to develop recommendations about future directions for the MHiMA Project. We will be providing a recommendations report to the Department by the end of March 2016. For more information about the MHiMA Project please visit our website.
